ChibiIdle
ChibiIdle
is an online RPG -- only, to play... Well, you don't, as it is all done for you! All you have to do is simply be online in the IRC Chat. It's based on time as experience, meaning: The longer you're in the IRC, the more "experience" you're getting, and the closer you are to leveling up!

Making an Account
To make an account, first log into the IRC Chat, then type:
/msg ChibiIdle REGISTER to make an account (don't used the < or > in it, or it will become part of your character name, password, or class!). Your characters name can be up to 16 letters long, password 8 letters, and class 20 letters.

Extra Info about Accounts

Your character name does not have to be your username on Chibipaws! So feel free to make it as unique or different as you want, as long as you follow Chibipaws's terms.

The Character Classes are basically what kind of fighter your character is, like a mage, knight, cookie eater, muffin, ect. This will not effect your fighting, so you can use your imagination on this, as well!

Logging into your account

After your account has been created, you can log in by saying: /msg ChibiIdle LOGIN (NAME) (PASSWORD) Of course, the places being replaced with your character name and password.

You will only advance in the game whenever you are on the IRC, so if you log off, so does your character. The longer you are on the IRC, the more experience you'll get!

Logging out

To log out of ChibiIdle, say: /msg ChibiIdle LOGOUT Logging out or leaving the IRC, however, comes with Penalties, or consequences. We'll get to this later, though.

Changing your Password

To change your password for your ChibiIdle character, say: /msg ChibiIdle NEWPASS And replace with your new password. (Remember to leave out < and >!)

Deleting your ChibiIdle Account

If you ever did, for some reason, want to delete your character, or start over, simply say: /msg ChibiIdle REMOVEME This will delete your character from ChibiIdle, and you may start over if you wish. Once it is gone, you can not get it back. Make sure you are completely confident that you no longer want your character!

Good? Evil? Don't favor?

Who you're allies with can affect your status in the game, like strength, luck, critical strikes and such. You have a choice to join Good, Evil, or just be Neutral. To change your alignment, say: /msg ChibiIdle ALIGN Replacing the "alignment" with good, evil or neutral.

How Will Alignments Affect a Character?

Alignments will affect your character in many ways, depending on which you're aligned with.

Good: Boosts item sum 10% in battles, 1/50 chance to land a critical hit in battle, 1/12 chance to team up with a random "good" member and battle (sending both characters 5-12% toward their next level).

Evil: 1/20 chance to land a critical hit in battle, 10% loss of item total in battle, but 1/8 chance they they could possibly: Steal from someone "good" or have 1-5% time taken by an evil god.

Neutral: Nothing changed. All players start as neutral.

Leveling

To gain experience or level up, you must be logged into the ChibiIdle. The "experience" is the time spent logged in on ChibiIdle, and is different - and higher - for every level.

600*(1.16^YOUR_LEVEL) Is the formula used to calculate the time needed, where ^ represents the exponentiation operator.

After level 60, one day is added, plus experience normally needed for your level. (time to level @ 60) + ((1 day) * (level - 60))

Points
After every time you level up, you may collect chibipoints. However, before you do this, you must contact jlp09550, the site's owner, so he may set up the point collecting system for you.

The points received are about 500*character level.

Quests

Four level 40 or above users are chosen to go on a certain quest for the "realm". If all four players complete the quest, 25% is removed from their clock at the quest's end. To complete the quest, no user can be penalized until they finish the quest. There are two types of quests:

Grid based: Based on the grid system, and do not have a set time. They must collect certain spots on the grid. You are led in the direction of the points needed, but at a slower pace, to avoid accidents!

Time based: Give 12-24 hours to complete the given quest. If not completed, team is penalized p15. To view the current quest, users participating, and the time left to complete it, say: /msg ChibiIdle QUEST

Your Online Status

To check if you are logged in or not, say: /msg ChibiIdle WHOAMI

Penalties

If you log out, change your username, or do other certain actions, time will be added to your clock.

Name Change: 30*(1.14^(YOUR_LEVEL))

Part: 200*(1.14^(YOUR_LEVEL))

Exit IRC/Logout: 20*(1.14^(YOUR_LEVEL))

Get Kicked Out: 250*(1.14^(YOUR_LEVEL))

A level 25 character changing their name would get: 20*(1.14^25)=793 seconds added to their clock.

Penalties are represented by P#, like the name change is 30, or p30.

Items

Every time you level, you receive a new item that is 1.5*YOUR_LEVEL (unless you find a special, rare item). Types of items include: rings, amulets, charms, weapons, helms, tunics, gloves, leggings, shields, and boots, and you may carry one of each type. Every time you find a stronger item, you toss the old one. However, you have a better chance of finding a weaker item than a stronger one.

Items of players can be viewed here.

Battle
Each time you level, you have a chance of battling a random online player, unless none are on. Up until level 25, you have a 25% chance of battle. After that, you have a 100% chance. Here's how the winner is chosen:

Both players items are totaled separately.

A random number between zero and your total is taken. Same with the enemy only with their total.

If you get a larger number than theirs, you win, and the opposite applies if you get a smaller number.

If you win, time is removed from your clock based on:

((the larger number of (OPPONENT_LEVEL/4) and 7) / 100) * YOUR_NEXT_TIME_TO_LEVEL

No more than 7% comes off of your clock, and your enemy is not pentalized unless you land a critical hit.

If a critical hit is landed: ((random number from 5 to 25) / 100) * OPPONENT'S_NEXT_TIME_TO_LEVEL

So no less than 5%, and no more than 25% of time is added to the losers clock. Sometimes, as a result of a win, you may steal an item from your enemy randomly. There is less than a 2% chance, though, and only items of higher value will be stolen.

Map

There is a huge map, made into a grid of 500x500, which online players move about randomly. Every second, each player may randomly move in four directions. If you walk into a player on the grid, you have a 1 / (NUMBER_OF_ONLINE_PLAYERS) chance to battle them. (If there was 10 players, you'd have 1/10 chance.)

Team Battles

Every user on line has 1/4 chance of participation in a "team battle", where three characters face three others, and the same rules apply as in regular battling, except for losses. The losing team gets 20% time of their weakest player added to their clock.

Calamities

Everyday users have a 1/8 chance of having a bad event befall them.

This may either:

Slow a player 5-12% from their next level.

Lowers a random item by 10%.

Blessings

Users have 1/8 of a chance to get a Godsend, or blessing, that may:

Take 5-12% from the player's clock.

Increase random item value by 10%.
